Cool website, I like the way you have it all laid out.

Thanks for the comment Ross. I know it is 'old fashioned' when it comes to website design, but I like it.

I really enjoyed seeing your stereoviews of Springmill village. I have never been there, so it was great to see it in 3d. I obtained a walking tour map of the village and wondered if you will be adding views of the spring house, carriage house and blacksmith shop located at the NW corner... to make the tour complete. Looking to seeing more. Thanks.

Dave, I'm glad you enjoyed my site. The views I have yet to make are: The springhouse, blacksmith shop, granny white house, munson house, meeting house, garden house, pioneer garden, and various views walking to the village. I have a few of the old graveyard in another part of the park. I will be a long time getting them done but perhaps I can get a few of them in from time to time.

This website has the most amazing drawings I've seen. The Mel Gibson charcoal drawing is unbelievable with it's technique and neatness. I was hoping that maybe you could answer a few questions I have about artwork. If you could please email Cassi at ......... It is for a research project in art class. Thank you.

Thank you Cassi for the nice compliments. I have sent you my email address where you can send your questions.

You have a very good picture, its like a real.

Thanks Nurwenda, it is nice to hear from you. I am thinking that you have a pair of stereoview glasses, as the glasses make you feel as if you are really there.

Loved the stereoviews, Steve!! Especially Dunes Park jetties at Ponce Inlet, awesome! Not many people know this, but the largest number of reported shark attacks (on planet earth) occur within eyesight of those rocks. Tell grannie and k.b. I said hello.

Thanks Andy and thank you for taking me around your area of Florida and letting me capture a few stereoviews. I like the boardwalks, they really lead into the distance.

You have done a nice job with your website, I enjoy seeing where other people are from who visit your site. Keep up the good work! It will be interesting to watch your website grow as more people find out about it.

Thanks, I appreciate your nice comments, but I and perhaps others would like to see where you are from also.

I just discovered your website via a link through Google. Haven't had time to explore it, but was happy to see contemporary views being displayed. Thanks for putting them out here.

Dear Steve, Charles Dickinson showed me your site last night. I have seen quite a few stereoview sites but none have impressed me as much as yours. You did a great job on the site and you create incredible stereoscopic photos as well as amazing artwork and carvings. Thanks for sharing your work.

Debbie, thank you for the compliments and for taking the time to let me know you enjoyed my website.

Dear Steve, I'm constantly searching the web and enjoy the many different sites about stereoviews. Your work is fantastic. I mostly use a loreo and tdc camera myself. I share your interest in trains and waterfalls for subject matter. Your artwork is beautiful. Congratulations on the best contemporary site I have ever seen on stereoviews. What type of camera(s) do you use?

Thanks Charles for the nice compliments and very encouraging reply. There are times when I wonder if anyone is enjoying my stereoviews and if the website is worth the time and effort.

I use a pair of Canon Powershot A300 digital cameras, mounted on an 18" Jasper sliding bar which in turn is mounted on a fairly sturdy tripod. I can take photos up to 15" apart with this system.

This setup weight 12 pounds and at first I thought it was going to be too heavy, but I do quite well with it. Of course I haven't lugged it more than four or five miles at any given time. It is times like on the way to Tunnel Falls that I wish I could have both arms free to hike.

I have more stereoview photos of both trains and waterfalls and I will eventually get them on the site, if all goes well.

Your pointalism was what I was interested in. I myself, pointalize, it is a great technique that can achieve great results. Your work, very nice.

Thanks Curtis. Pointalism is slow but gives much realism to a drawing.

Note: My website back on this date included my artwork

It really works, packing two cameras around looks odd but creates an amazing photo! Look forward to the Newport Hill Climb stereoviews. It was nice meeting you Steve and listening and learning a little more about the 3rd dimension. I guess that's poor humor. Keep up the great work.

Hi Troy, I'm glad to hear that your photos are working in 3D. That 3rd dimension of depth makes a photograph exciting. I like what one person said: "A photo reminds you of where you have been, a stereoview takes you there". I'll get a few photos of the Newport Hill Climb on the site soon. Have fun!

I'm impressed Steve. What a wonderful way to showcase a life's work. But I'm jealous that such an analog guy as yourself has made the move to digital so easily. Good job!

Thanks Lee. It is an excellent way to share my work with friends and relatives. I enjoy having a way to share my work with people that I meet while taking my photos and otherwise.
